Day 1- Dae es Salaam to Mpanda Airport, then to Katavi National Park.

Your adventure begins with a scheduled morning flight from Dar es Salaam to Mpanda Airport, then a drive to Katavi National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to Tanapa Bandas.
After lunch and some time to relax, enjoy your first afternoon game drive through this remarkable wilderness. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators beginning their evening activities. As the sun sets over the floodplains, return toBandas for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Katavi full-day game drive.

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Katuma River and Lake Chada, important water sources that attract abundant wildlife. These areas are particularly known for their impressive populations of hippos and crocodiles, while lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, and other predators patrol the surrounding plains in search of prey.
A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing you to maximise your time in the park. Continue exploring different habitats during the afternoon before returning to the Bandas for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Katavi full-day game drive and night game drive.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full day of game viewing in one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife areas. Explore the famous Katavi Floodplains, where large concentrations of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, and elephant gather throughout the year. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing you to maximise your time in the park. Continue exploring different habitats during the afternoon before returning to the Bandas for dinner and overnight. At night, at 08:00 pm, accompanied by rangers, start a night game drive. You will have a great chance to see night movers and other animals in their natural habitats. Back to the bandas for overnight.

Day 4. Katavi to Mpanda Airport.

In the morning, after breakfast, pick up and transfer to the airport on time for your flight back to Dar es Salaam.
