Day 1. Dar-es-salaam- Kigoma – Gombe

In the morning pick up and transfer to Dar-es-salaam international airport for your flight to Kigoma. Pick up on your arrival at Kigoma airport and transfer to Kibirizi port for your private boat to Gombe .Meet your guide for briefing, afterwards proceed for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Gombe Stream’s main attraction is obviously the chimpanzee families that live protected within the park’s boundaries. Visitors take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with the extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests. Val vet and colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs and dik dik inhabit the dense forest and a wide variety of tropical bird life. Dinner and overnight at F/B.

Day 2. Gombe Chimpanzee trekking

08:00 after breakfast, accompanied by the guide, start chimpanzee trekking in the forest and visit Kakombe waterfalls. Back to the guest house for late lunch, at evening time go swimming at Lake Tanganyika. Dinner and overnight F/B.

Day 3. Chimpanzee trekking and back to Kigoma town

After breakfasts, At 08:00 go for Chimpanzee trekking, Climb to Jane Goodall’s peak, back to the guest house for lunch and at 14:00 departures by boat back to Kigoma town. An evening time, Pick up on your arrival at Kibirizi port and transfer to Ujiji village visit Dr Livingstone memorial centre. Ujiji is the oldest town in western Tanzania, located about 6 miles (10 km) south of Kigoma. Ujiji is the place where Richard Burton and John Speke first reached the shore of Lake Tanganyika in 1858. It is the site of the famous meeting on 10 November 1871 when Henry Stanley found Dr David Livingstone, and reputedly uttered the famous words “Dr Livingstone, I presume?” Livingstone, whom many thought dead as no news had been heard of him for several years. A monument known as the “Dr Livingstone Memorial” was erected in here to commemorate the meeting. There is also a modest museum. Day 4. Kigoma to Dar-es-salaam

The morning after breakfast, pick up and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Dar.
