Udzungwa is a ‘World biodiversity hot spot’ conservation area of about 2000 sq km. It lies in the Iringa and Morogoro region of south and central of Tanzania.
How to get to Udzungwa;
Drive five hours from Dar es Salaam, or one hour from Mikumi.
What to do;
Hike up to the beautiful Sanje waterfall, or take a walking safari through this mountainous national park, experience the park bio-diversity and unique rain forest where many of the rare native plants are not found elsewhere in the world. Udzungwa is the home of five primate specis, including the Iringa red colobus monkeys and the Sanje crested Mangabay.
